Terms of Service

By creating an account or otherwise using Pen2Pencil, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you confirm you have permission from a parent or guardian to use the platform.

You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at the email below if you suspect unauthorized access. You may sign in with a password or via Google Sign-In.

Use Pen2Pencil lawfully and respectfully. In particular, do not: post content that is illegal, harassing, hateful, or infringes someone else's rights; attempt to circumvent AI-credit limits, rate limits, or the referral program's fraud safeguards; scrape, reverse-engineer, or resell platform content or job listings in bulk; upload malware or attempt to compromise site security; or misuse the community, discussion, or study-group features to spam other users.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

You retain ownership of the content you create — resumes, portfolios, code, notes, and community posts. By posting content that's public or shared (e.g. a public portfolio, a shared resume link, or a Discussion post), you grant us a license to host and display it as part of operating that feature. You are solely responsible for content you choose to make public.

The AI assistant (Ask), AI Tutor, Mock Interview, Resume Rewrite, ATS Checker, Vibe Coding, Space automation, and AI-powered PDF tools use third-party AI providers (currently OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI (Grok), and DeepSeek, routed via the Vercel AI Gateway) to generate responses; you may also connect your own AI provider key, in which case your requests run on that provider. AI output can be inaccurate or incomplete — treat it as a study aid, not professional, legal, or career advice, and verify anything important yourself.

AI-powered actions consume AI credits, which reset monthly according to your plan (Free or Pro). You can earn additional credits by referring other users, subject to the monthly referral cap and anti-abuse checks shown in-product; we may adjust, revoke, or cap credits obtained through fraudulent or abusive referral activity.

Live job listings are aggregated from public company career pages and third-party job boards for convenience; we don't guarantee their accuracy, availability, or that a listed position is still open. Applying "on-site" takes you to the employer's own site, governed by their own terms. We are not a party to, and are not responsible for, the hiring process or any outcome with an employer.

Paid plans (Pro, monthly or annual) are billed through Razorpay in the currency and amount shown at checkout. Plans renew for the stated interval unless canceled before the renewal date. Downgrading or canceling takes effect at the end of your current billing period — no partial refunds for unused time, except where required by law or stated otherwise at the time of purchase.

Pen2Pencil may display ads via Google AdSense, which are shown or personalized based on your cookie preferences (see our Privacy Policy). We don't control the content of third-party ads served by AdSense.

Pen2Pencil's course content, branding, and platform code are owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright and other laws. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works from our course content or platform without permission.

Pen2Pencil is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that courses, AI features, or job listings will lead to any particular outcome (e.g. a job offer or certification recognized by any employer). To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pen2Pencil is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

We may update these Terms as the platform evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above; continued use of Pen2Pencil after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
